Windmills...2

... this time, from Dobrodja county, Romania. It was the windmill of the Nun Monastery Cilik Dere, a splendidly situated old Monastery, on a hill covered with old oak trees. If you do not know how Eden looks like, go there... No TV, no telephone, nothing of the modern technology. Just fresh, pure air, bird chirping and meditation... I dream of a castle in a place like that...

This is a 8 x 10 inches canvas, painted in acrylics, and it would be yours for just CA$ 90 .

Windmills...

It looks like Neederland but, in fact, it's a landscape from the "Astra" Open Air Museum ( the largest open air Museum in Europe) near Sibiu, Romania. As a child and a teen ager I've spent a lot of time around and still have some pictures of it... When I get nostalgic, I take a photo and I paint... When I'm sad, when I'm happy, when I'm bored... well, I do the same thing... I paint...

This is a 8 x 10 inches canvas, painted in acrylics, and it's yours for Ca$ 95 ...

Does it happen to you too? Days with no meaning, void, when nothing seem to make sense... when all effort, even painting!, seem pointless, futile... and when all you can muster is "no comment"... This is, as usual, an acrylic ink and watercolor, on Strathmore (acid free) watercolor paper, 9 x 12 inches and Ca$ 300 as price...

A nude, no more...

An acrylic ink and watercolor, 9 x 12 inches, on Strathmore watercolor paper (no acid there),
Since in my book this nude is a "sonderklasse" (exceptional class) so, if somebody wants it, it will cost Ca$ 300.

Exagerating proportions...

This is a 9 x 12 inches acrylic ink and watercolor on Strathmore watercolor paper and I would sell it for CA$ 250. Personally, I do not think classical proportions must be respected IN SPITE of the expressivity. In my book, I'll take expressivity any day of the week... I hope you do also... Here is a nude which doesn't have the exact proportions but, in my opinion, does not lack a certain expressivity... I did not do it on purpose... just like I do not exagerate the features of a portrait ON PURPOSE... It just HAPPENS that way...

She dindn't like to pose...

That's why she's kind of "cross"... And I did it this afternoon... it's an acrylik ink and watercolor on Strathmore watercolor paper (I love the texture...), a 9 x 12 inches, and still for sale (nobody had the time to buy it! still warm!) Email me if interested...

Picturesque Quebec

This is one of the landscapes I've painted here, in the Quebec province, were I live. My region, the Eastern Townships, is really very picturesque (no less than Vermont and Maine and New Hamshire) and more far-away regions like Gaspé peninsula (where I've painted this one) are also a painter's paradise... In summer, at least...In winter I use pictures taken in summertime... It's a watercolor, with some acrylic ink, on Strathmore paper, 9 x 12 inches, and it's yours for CA$ 250...
