This landscape went through so many variants that I've lost count... this is the final (until I got an idea and I change it again...) variant. I hope.
It's a 12" x 24" acrylics on canvas. Email me if interrested...

I like this landscape very much, Danu! Can you post the other variants, maybe? I've always liked to see, in paintings and in photographs, an "identical" scene but painted at different seasons of the year, or just the different lighting at different times of day...
Yes, D, I can. And, for you, I will. Even if those variants, since I paint over, do not longer exist but in digital form...
And there is a Romania artist (very good), Ion Margineanu, I think, who did just as you suggested. He painted a hill in all seasons, for years... Cézanne did it also, not systematically, with Mount St. Victoire... But the seasons are so different in the south of France...
I was born with another name...not worse than any other, only more difficult to pronounce... So, when, in April 2002, I've become a full time visual artist, I've chose to re-name myself as Ion Vincent Danu. Ion, that's my middle name, my father's name also... short, not bad (since GM "Saturn" chose it too...), Vincent is an homage to Vincent Van Gogh and DANU because, apart from being my nickname (some of my family used to call me that, it's a diminutive for "Dan") but also it's a kind of YANG-YIN thing, it means, in Romanian, YES-NO. And it sounds good, I think... Japanese painters
did rename themselves each time they thought they entered a new creative phase... not a bad thing to do.

Ma bucur ca-tzi place si care are, pentru tine, aerul autentic Transilvan...
