Transilvanian landscape


This landscape went through so many variants that I've lost count... this is the final (until I got an idea and I change it again...) variant. I hope.

It's a 12" x 24" acrylics on canvas. Email me if interrested...

I like this landscape very much, Danu! Can you post the other variants, maybe? I've always liked to see, in paintings and in photographs, an "identical" scene but painted at different seasons of the year, or just the different lighting at different times of day...

Yes, D, I can. And, for you, I will. Even if those variants, since I paint over, do not longer exist but in digital form...

And there is a Romania artist (very good), Ion Margineanu, I think, who did just as you suggested. He painted a hill in all seasons, for years... Cézanne did it also, not systematically, with Mount St. Victoire... But the seasons are so different in the south of France...

Cred ca e Oltul, undeva pe la Avrig si Sacadate, insa ar putea reprezenta f. bine si Tirnava mea natala...

esti nostalgic, esti duios, esti shagalnic (unde-s domnule diacriticele?), esti un pictor cvasi-complet!

Sincer, Dane, nu ma asteptam sa abordezi o asemnea splendoare de maniera "anacronica" (in sensul bun al cuvintului) de a picta...

Am zis sa incerc sa vad daca-s în stare de a fi capabil, Ovidiu! Ma bucur ca-tzi place si care are, pentru tine, aerul autentic Transilvan...
