Landscape from Bucovina

Bucovina it's the North Eastern region of Romania, more northern than eastern... a beautiful region, with great landscapes and monuments all around (especially the famous monasteries, Voronetz and such...)

This is a 8 x 10 inches painting, acrylics on cardboard, and for CA$ 125 it's yours...

The Bucovina landscape is for me about mild lines and the music of nature and pastures and all shades of green melding with the blue sky reflected in the walls of the Voronetz monastery. I do not find those here, the 'van-goghian' palet of this work does not fit my memories.

Well, Dan, I have no great merit in this one... I'll search for the photo from which I've painted this landscape (I did a kind of pilgrimage all over Romania, before leaving for Canada, with all my family) and you'll see that memories are rarely complete... I assure you, the .van goghian" effect it's merely a collateral benefice...
